2012 has been a very tumultuous year...one that I'm thankful I had, but also one I'm thankful to put in the rear-view mirror. Moving and adjusting to NYC has been, by far, one of the hardest transitions I've ever made (rivaling only college). Once John finally got here though, I really began to feel more grounded in reality. I hope 2013 brings us a much smoother road filled with lots of joy. We're already counting on joy with John's twin brother expecting a new baby, and two weddings (one on my mom's side and one on my dad's side)! Lots of wonderful things ahead in 2013!
As is now tradition, let's take a look back on our favorite 2012 recipes. There were a LOT to choose from but somehow, we managed to successfully narrow each category to one!
Brilliant Brunch - Banana Chocolate Chip Doughnuts
Fancy Pants App - Grilled Fig, Prosciutto, and Plum Flatbreads
Dorm Room Dinner - Chicken Braccioletinne
Weeknight Dinner - Sesame Chicken

Welcome! I'm Dani (aka the Growing Foodie), just a girl balancing her career and passion for all things edible in NYC. I hope you'll join me in my adventures in life, through food. (Click for More)
