I'm very particular to Jack Daniels. A few years back, our last 5-person family vacation (since now we roll up with an entourage 8+ big), we stopped at the Jack Daniels Distillery in Tennessee. By then, of course, I was an avid whiskey fan and couldn't believe we were actually there. Where the magic happens! The whole time, you just smelt whiskey...everywhere. I couldn't get enough and to be honest, I could have lived there happily.
When we got the mixes from Scales Cocktails, I knew that at least one of these drinks HAD to feature my beloved whiskey. John took a pass but there are plenty of more non-whiskey drinks to keep him happy (and you, if you also don't think whiskey is a fun choice for a good time)!
Serves: 4 (1 quart)
2 cups Scales Cocktails Sweet & Sour Mix
2/3 cup cherries, pitted
1/4 cup grenadine
1 cup whiskey
1 cup seltzer
In a blender, combine Scales Cocktails Sweet & Sour Mix and cherries. Strain. Stir in grenadine, whiskey, and setlzer. Serve immediately.
